How we rate

Last updated October 12, 2026

Match Parfait is an independent guide for adults in the United States who want to date discreetly without getting burned. The name is French for “perfect match”, and the attitude is French too: what two adults do between five and seven is their business, and keeping it that way is a skill.

The questions we ask every site

  • Who runs it, and what happened the last time it was tested by a breach or a regulator?
  • Can you hide or blur your photos, and control who sees what?
  • What name shows on your card statement, and is it written in the help center?
  • How are payments structured (subscription, credits), and can you turn off auto-renewal yourself?
  • Can you delete your account, and what does the site say it keeps afterwards?
  • What does the site admit about fake or paid profiles?

Where the answers come from

The sites’ own help centers, terms and privacy policies; regulators such as the FTC; court records; and reputable press coverage. Every review lists its sources at the bottom. When something can’t be verified, we leave it out.

What we refuse to do

  • No fake reviews, star ratings, member counts or “success rates”.
  • Profile cards are labeled illustrations, never presented as members.
  • No fake urgency, countdowns or invented discounts.
  • No explicit content, and no judgment of anyone’s situation.

Victoria Milan is our first pick, and we still print its watch-outs. Start with the full comparison or the free discretion checklist. Corrections are welcome at contact@match-parfait.com.
